The North London suburb of Neasden is home to St Catherine’s Church, an Edwardian building though with a modern congregation.
They were keen to have a fixed frame screen in the chancel archway, that is able to swing out of sight when not used. As there is no commercial solution available, APi Communications was able to design and install one of our unique bespoke hinge devices, that supports the screen. In this instance it is mounted on the chancel arm column to permit movement through 90 degrees and therefore, when not in use, park within the first archway in the choir.
We also installed a suitable projector and HDMI distribution system.
