We were asked to install at St Peter’s, a large Victorian Church in the outer suburbs of Bristol.
This was to distribute computer and camera signals to many points within the Nave, Aisles and Chancel, so as to achieve the greatest flexibility in functions wherein all services, community events and even digital signage could be swiftly accommodated.
We chose to install our bespoke swinging arm screen, so that this could be parked discreetly within an architectural feature on the Nave wall. We utilised a low-profile Sony projector, which features a warping facility to correct the image shape. The signal distribution is High-Definition over Category 6 cabling and permits multiple LCD displays in the Chancel (for the choir), the Aisles and the Transept Chapel with camera’s available to allow close-ups views of the Altar Table and the Chancel step.
